It would serve you well to read this. These are the finest Holly cored fronts obtainable on the market. They are flawless! They are ivory colored and in fact closely resemble genuine Elephant Ivory. Now, stop there. We want you to click on the picture to your left and view each core and butt sleeve within the picture. Well, the large butt sleeve on the bottom left IS genuine Elephant Ivory. Do you see how closely it matches genuine Elephant Ivory. These are incredible fronts! Need we say more. You can make a cue as a plain jane and everyone will think it's ivory. Or you can cut in ebony, cocobolo or just about any other wood for points. These fronts will be the talk of the pool room. These are strictly for the advanced cue builder or anyone wishing to elevate their cue building. Until now, no one to our knowledge has built a complete front with beautiful pristine Holly. The reason being, Holly is very light and brittle to use alone. However, with modern coring this is now possible and we are proud to be able to offer it out to our friends and customers. These are made from beautiful Holly. Then, we bore out a perfect .750 diameter hole through the entire 13" piece. We then cut our maple coring dowels down to .750 X 15" and slide the maple core inside the bored front for a nice tight fit. Once this is achieved, we then glue the two together. When the glue is dried, we put a taper on the front of approximately .925/1.150". Each end has a 60 degree center and all pieces are treated with Resolute. These are incredibly stable and ready for almost immediate use. We recommend letting them sit in your shop for a couple of weeks prior to taking a pass. Additionally... These are available immediately. They are also treated in Resolute. We recommend that you wait at least a week prior to performing any work on these. The first thing that you should do it take a very small pass on your equipment.
