These are genuine Ebony turned round; these are black! They measure anywhere between 1.150" and 1.250" round by 15" long. They are sealed, stable and straight. The white stuff you may see in the photo is the sealer curing. These were last turned about 3 years ago and have been resting since. They were just found and as such we're blowing them out! These will not last long at this price. So, how good of a deal are these? Well, it's really not all that hard to figure out. How much is a square of ebony today? Then, how much is your time worth to turn them down incrementally to our size over some time and let them rest? Yep, it a real tough decision since you can barely buy the wood for our price of the turned blank. And, best of all these are old and rested. |
