  African Blackwood is dark purplish black; the general effect is nearly jet black. It is a very hard and heavy wood. The grain is mostly straight with a fine texture. These pieces are dry (sitting since 2000) with no cracks which usually are abundant in African Blackwood. These are of the highest quality available. This wood is disappearing and more difficult to obtain. Get it while it's available. This is Joe's favorite wood for building cues. It's black, it glows when finished and the hit is great! We sold out of the 15" and just found another hundred or so of 18". Get them while you can!!!!! We have a limited supply of 18" dynamite Blackwood sticks (1.5" x 1.5" x 18") remaining! They are beauties! |
